Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in ABAP programming and a passion for developing efficient and scalable solutions within the SAP environment.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain ABAP programs and reports based on functional specifications.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform unit testing and support integration testing of ABAP objects.
- Optimize existing ABAP code for performance improvements and adhere to best practices.
- Debug and resolve issues in ABAP programs and support production issues.
- Participate in SAP system upgrades and migrations as needed.
- Prepare technical documentation for developed programs and enhancements.

Skills and Qualifications

- 2-10 years of experience in SAP ABAP programming.
- Strong understanding of ABAP programming concepts and techniques.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA and Fiori/UI5 is desirable.
- Familiarity with data dictionary objects such as tables, views, and data elements.
- Experience with IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs for integration purposes.
- Proficient in debugging and performance tuning of ABAP programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
