A quality engineer is responsible for developing implementing and maintaining quality standards and control systems for products and processes to ensure they meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements This role involves defect prevention process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives The specific duties and required skills can vary depending on the industry e g software manufacturing aerospace and seniority level Key ResponsibilitiesA quality engineer s typical responsibilities include Developing Quality Standards Designing and implementing quality control procedures standards and inspection methods Inspections and Audits Performing regular inspections and audits of materials equipment processes and products to ensure compliance with established standards Problem-Solving and Corrective Actions Investigating product or production issues performing root cause analysis and developing corrective and preventive actions Data Analysis and Reporting Monitoring and analyzing quality performance metrics and data to identify trends preparing detailed quality reports for management and recommending process adjustments Collaboration Working closely with cross-functional teams including design manufacturing procurement and suppliers to integrate quality throughout the product lifecycle Supplier Management Collaborating with suppliers to ensure incoming materials and components meet quality standards which may include conducting supplier audits and performance evaluations Documentation and Training Creating and maintaining comprehensive quality documentation and training staff on proper quality control procedures and best practices Required Skills and Qualifications Successful quality engineers possess a blend of technical and interpersonal skills Hard Skills Education A bachelor s degree in engineering mechanical Analytical Problem-Solving Excellent critical thinking skills to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions Attention to Detail Meticulousness to identify minor flaws that could lead to major issues Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams and reporting findings to stakeholders Teamwork Leadership Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and in senior roles lead and mentor junior engineers Project Management Strong organizational and project management skills to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives effectively Job Types Permanent Fresher Pay 15 000 00 - 17 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Provident Fund
