Instruction Design Specialist

SUMMARYWe are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable AI Trainer to design develop and deliver AI training programs to a variety of audiences including policymakers educators students healthcare workers and farmers The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI and machine learning excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching and mentoring This role involves creating and delivering both in-person and online training sessions workshops and courses that cater to the needs of different cohorts Location - DelhiABOUT US -Wadhwani AI is a nonprofit institute building and deploying applied AI solutions to solve critical issues in public health agriculture education and urban development in underserved communities in the global south We collaborate with governments social sector organizations academic and research institutions and domain experts to identify real-world problems and develop practical AI solutions to tackle these issues with the aim of making a substantial positive impact We have over 30 AI projects supported by leading philanthropies such as Bill Melinda Gates Foundation USAID and Google org With a team of over 200 professionals our expertise encompasses AI ML research and innovation software engineering domain knowledge design and user research In the Press SoleCultures page of Wadhwani AI -ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTraining Delivery Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions workshops and webinars on AI topics such as machine learning natural language processing computer vision responsible AI and AI applications in specific sectors e g education health governance Assessment Evaluation Develop and administer assessments to evaluate participants understanding and application of AI concepts Provide feedback and guidance to ensure learning objectives are met Continuous Improvement Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and integrate new knowledge into training materials Continuously improve training programs based on participant feedback and evolving industry trends Reporting Track and report on training outcomes including participant progress and feedback and suggest improvements to the training programs Curriculum Development Design and develop comprehensive AI training curriculums tailored to different audiences including basic intermediate and advanced levels of AI literacy Customization Adapt training content to meet the specific needs of different audiences including policymakers healthcare workers teachers students climate experts and industry professionals Content Creation Create high-quality training materials including presentations hands-on exercises case studies and assessments that align with learning objectives Collaboration Work closely with other team members including instructional designers subject matter experts and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of training programs REQUIREMENTSBachelor s or Master s degree in any field and proven experience 3 years in training and teaching of technical subjectsCertification in AI ML from recognized institutions Experience in delivering training or teaching AI-related topics to diverse audiences Strong communication skills in English and Hindi with the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible manner Proficiency in additional languages is a plus but not mandatory Proficiency in programming languages such as Python R or similar and experience with AI frameworks like TensorFlow PyTorch etc Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning theories Experience with online learning platforms and tools e g Moodle Coursera etc is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong organizational and time-management skills We are committed to promoting diversity and the principle of equal employment opportunity for all our employees and encourage qualified candidates to apply irrespective of religion or belief ethnic or social background gender gender identity and disability If you have any questions please email us at careers wadhwaniai org
