Housemen(housekeeping Room Attendant)

A housekeeping assistant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in assigned areas ensuring a positive experience for guests or residents This includes tasks like cleaning rooms replenishing supplies reporting maintenance issues and following health and safety guidelines They work under the direction of a supervisor or manager and contribute to the overall smooth operation of the housekeeping department Key Responsibilities Cleaning and Sanitizing Dusting vacuuming mopping sweeping and sanitizing bathrooms kitchens and living spaces Bed Making and Linen Management Changing linens making beds and ensuring an adequate supply of clean linens Inventory Management Keeping track of cleaning supplies and equipment and replenishing them as needed Reporting Issues Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues damages or safety hazards to the supervisor Guest Resident Interaction Providing excellent customer service responding to requests and ensuring guest satisfaction Following Procedures Adhering to established cleaning protocols safety guidelines and company policies Skills and Qualifications Physical Stamina Ability to stand walk bend lift and carry items for extended periods Attention to Detail Thoroughness in cleaning and maintaining spaces to high standards Communication Skills Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors colleagues and guests Time Management Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to complete work within set timeframes Teamwork Ability to work independently and as part of a team Customer Service Orientation A positive and helpful attitude towards guests or residents Job Types Full-time Permanent Fresher Internship Contractual Temporary Freelance Volunteer Contract length 12 months Pay 8 086 00 - 12 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Leave encashment Paid time off Shift availability Day Shift Preferred Night Shift Preferred Work Location In person
