JOB SUMMARY

As a strategic procurement professional- Opex/Capex Procurement- IT Purchase and will be responsible for the strategy development, global sourcing and procurement of raw materials required for EV battery manufacturing to meet the strategic objectives of the organisation.

Shall be responsible for end-to-end procurement of IT components & Release of AMC Contracts required for Functioning of Plant.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for managing procurement function of CAPEX

- Follow established policies, procedures, and guidelines to manage and optimize procurement activities and processes

- Assist in managing activities of procurement department: Float enquiries, obtain quotations- Preparing and maintaining of purchase orders

- Releasing POs, follow up with suppliers (equipment, supplies and services- local/imported) for timely delivery of materials.

- Reviewing, comparing, analyzing of offers and preparation of procurement proposals for management approvals for purchase of materials and services to be purchased. Managing maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.

- To manage the Procurement function within SAP - working along the Corporate Sourcing guidelines.

- Assist in Vendor rating, Contractors Performance Evaluation and Vendor Registration, updating of vendor list based on comments from the internal customers.

- Manage the sourcing portfolio ensuring transparency of awarding

- Lead and manage the RFI, RFQ, Cost Comparison, Zero based costing, Negotiation & awarding process.

- Establish beneficial working relationships with various internal groups across the organization including various programs, regional/country offices, legal, finance, and others.

- Manage complex projects from conception through implementation, including change management.

- Fixing contracts for IT services.

- Purchasing of Software & Hardware,

- Purchasing of Licenses for Technical services.

- Fixing Manpower contract for IT Support functions.

- Direct discussion with OEM for IT requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:

- Proven work experience in Indirect Sourcing, mainly in IT function for automobile/Tech Company for Green field or Brown Field Project.

- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.

- Broad Knowledge about Contract finalization.

- Knowledge about legal terms.

- Strong project management and leadership skills.

- Prices trends of Laptop, Spyware Software's.

Desired:

- Solid judgment with ability to make good decisions

- Strong Communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.

- Capable of managing self-activity planning and sorting priorities as per deadlines and work without supervision.

- Coordinating with users for PR, Approvals and releasing PO.

- Expedite the payments- aligning with the GRN & Accounts payable team.

Role Specific Qualifications/Certifications

- Essential- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Automobile Engg.

- ERP Systems, SAP Ariba

- Min 5+ years of experience in indirect sourcing/procurement mainly in IT Purchases in the automotive industry
