Introduction We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CCTV Technician to handle installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV systems and other security equipment. The ideal candidate should have technical knowledge of surveillance systems, networking basics, and hands-on experience in field installations. This role requires someone who can work independently, manage site work, and ensure seamless CCTV operations for clients.Key Responsibilities1. Installation & Configuration Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and related accessories. Set up surveillance systems as per client requirements and site specifications. Ensure proper cabling, power supply, and camera positioning for best coverage. 2. Maintenance & Troubleshooting Perform regular preventive maintenance on CCTV systems. Diagnose and resolve issues related to camera connectivity, image quality, and recording errors. Repair or replace faulty equipment and coordinate with vendors when needed. 3. Networking & System Integration Configure IP cameras, NVRs, and network switches. Set up remote monitoring access for clients on mobiles and desktops. Work on LAN/WAN connectivity and ensure proper data transmission. 4. Client Support & Coordination Provide on-site technical support and attend customer complaints promptly. Educate clients on system usage, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting. Coordinate with the project team for new installations and upgrades. 5. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of installed devices, serial numbers, and configurations. Prepare service reports, maintenance logs, and project completion documents.
