Job Title: 3D Artist Location: Worli, Mumbai Experience Required: 7-8 Years Job Type: Full-time Department: CGI Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative 3D Artist to join our dynamic team at Elephant Canvas LLP. As a 3D expert, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing visual effects, animations, and 3D models to meet artistic and project-specific requirements. The ideal candidate will be experienced in 3D modeling, texturing, mapping, and rendering, with the ability to see through the entire creative process from pre-production to post-production. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the creative head and other team members to discuss and brainstorm project ideas. - Conceptualize creative ideas and develop 3D assets based on project requirements. - Create storyboards and visualizations to help bring ideas to life in a realistic 3D environment. - Utilize advanced 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering techniques to produce high-quality assets and animations. - Work independently on projects from initial concept through to post-production. - Create 3D sculpts and assets, ensuring they meet artistic standards and project goals. - Review and refine 3D work, offering suggestions for improvement where needed. - Maintain a working knowledge of simulations in software like Blender or Houdini. - Stay updated with industry trends and continuously improve technical skills. - Required Skills and Qualifications: - Proficiency in 3D software like Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or similar. - Strong skills in modeling, texturing, UV mapping, lighting, and rendering. - Experience with animation and visual effects. - Ability to create realistic environments and assets. - Familiarity with simulations in Blender or Houdini (preferred). - Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet artistic standards. - Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects from concept to final delivery. - Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to take constructive feedback. - Experience in creating storyboards and visualizations. - A portfolio showcasing 3D modeling, animation, and visual effects work. - Additional Skills (Preferred): - Experience with sculpting tools like ZBrush. - Knowledge of Unreal Engine or Unity for real-time rendering. - Understanding of color theory, composition, and lighting.
