Job Category Construction Planning Design Delivery About Business Adani Group Adani Group is a diversified organisation in India comprising 10 publicly traded companies It has created a world-class logistics and utility infrastructure portfolio that has a pan-India presence Adani Group is headquartered in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat India Over the years Adani Group has positioned itself to be the market leader in its logistics and energy businesses focusing on large-scale infrastructure development in India with O M practices benchmarked to global standards With four IG-rated businesses it is the only Infrastructure Investment Grade issuer in India Adani Realty Adani Realty is the real estate arm of one of India s leading infrastructure and development entities - Adani Group With resolute commitment to Nation Building and Growth with Goodness we are developing real estate projects in the most promising destinations integrating design aesthetics with cutting-edge construction technology Job Purpose The Lead - Civil Construction is responsible for overseeing and managing all civil construction activities ensuring compliance with project specifications safety regulations and quality standards This role involves leading a team of engineers and contractors conducting site inspections and coordinating with various stakeholders to achieve project objectives efficiently and effectively Responsibilities Lead - Civil Construction Technical Management Provide technical guidance and advice to design staff supervisors inspectors and contractors regarding civil construction practices Analyze civil engineering issues and formulate effective solutions to ensure compliance with project requirements Conduct structural analysis and design for buildings across various sectors ensuring technical quality and compliance with project objectives safety and quality standards Prepare and check detailed structural calculations and review drawings in line with project quality procedures Develop and review detailed plans specifications and cost estimates for civil construction projects Project Documentation Review project documents including tenders specifications bills of quantities BOQs material submittals and shop drawings for compliance with design intent Draft and issue site engineer s instructions related to civil construction works as required Review and provide feedback on contractors Operation and Maintenance manuals to ensure comprehensive project documentation Inspection and Compliance Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to approved plans specifications and best practices for civil construction Undertake periodic site visits to ensure civil structural works are executed per design intent Review general specifications and site-specific particular specifications to ensure alignment with project requirements Undertake final project snagging and prepare a list of defects for contractor rectification Review contractor installation method statements and ensure compliance with project requirements Clearance and Approval Review contractor shop drawings against design documents and provide comments or approvals within specified timelines Assess contractor material proposals for compliance with specified performance requirements and advise the Project Manager accordingly Evaluate the technical qualifications of proposed subcontractors associated with civil works Contractor Management Manage and lead civil contractors throughout the project duration ensuring effective communication and collaboration Supervise the execution of all civil construction activities maintaining quality and safety standards Provide clear instructions to the team to execute tasks according to design specifications within designated timeframes Project Coordination Plan organize and evaluate the work of consultants and contractors to ensure adherence to project standards Understand project procedures execution plans and quality plans to assist the Project Manager in executing project activities effectively Advise the Project Manager on any technical aspects of civil services that may impact construction progress including quality issues or potential delays Attend project meetings and report on progress related to civil construction activities as directed by the Project Manager Key Stakeholders - Internal Key Stakeholders - Internal Finance Team PMO Team Design Team Techno Commercial Facility Management CRM Key Stakeholders - External Consultants Architecture Suppliers etc Contractors Government Officials CIDCO Mantralaya Collectorate Office Qualifications Educational Qualification Education Qualification Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Work Experience Range of years Work Experience Range of years 10-15 Years Preferred Industry Experience in in civil construction management within the construction industry preferably in large-scale projects Strong knowledge of civil construction standards methods and best practices
