Job Summary The Data Entry Intern will assist the team in accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in various company databases, spreadsheets, and software systems. This internship provides hands-on experience in data management, documentation, and reporting while improving typing speed, accuracy, and organizational skills. It is ideal for freshers and students who want to gain practical exposure and start a career in data entry, administration, or back-office operations. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Data Entry & Management Accurately enter, verify, and update data in company systems and spreadsheets. Maintain data integrity by checking for errors, inconsistencies, and missing information. Organize and manage electronic and physical records efficiently. Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive company and client information. B. Documentation & Record-Keeping Prepare, manage, and maintain reports, files, and documentation. Scan, upload, and categorize documents as required. Assist in creating organized filing systems for easy data retrieval. C. Reporting & Coordination Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports as instructed by supervisors. Coordinate with different departments to collect, verify, and update data. Support administrative tasks and assist team members as needed. D. Quality Control & Accuracy Review data entries regularly to ensure completeness and correctness. Follow standard operating procedures and data entry guidelines. Identify errors or inconsistencies and report them for corrective action.Required Skills & Competencies A. Technical Skills Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with Google Sheets, Docs, and other data tools is an advantage. Understanding of database systems or ERP software is preferred but not mandatory. Good typing speed with high accuracy. B. Soft Skills Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to handle repetitive tasks with focus and consistency. Good communication skills for coordinating with team members.
