A Position Overview Position Title Assistant Manager - Investments Back Office Department Investments Operations Level/ Band Assistant Manager - 301 1. Role Summary: 2. Ensure smooth working of Investments Cash Flows, Banking & Settlement, Fund Accounting and declaration of daily NAV. 3. Understanding of Regulatory and Internal guidelines related to settlement of trades across all assets classes viz., G Sec, Corporate Debt, Equity, MMI and other instruments 4. SAP Investment Management System (IMS) - - Settlement of all types of trades within system and with counterparties - Addressing day to day Banking & Accounting requirements and - New Development / enhancement with successful completion of UAT testing 1. Month / Quarter end activities and accounting 2. MIS, Reporting and Analytical. B Organizational Relationships Reports To AVP - Investments Operations Supervises Junior members of Investments Operations team (normally 3-4 officials) C Job Dimensions Geographic Area Covered National Stakeholders - Internal Fund Managers, Finance & Accounts, Operations, IT, Risk and Actuarial Department for Investments Operation activities. External Banks, Custodian, Counterparties & Auditors and System Vendor D Key Responsibility Areas 1) Prime responsibility would ensure smooth working of Investment Back Office - from morning Cash Flows to daily EOD activities 2) Ensure compliance of all regulatory and internal guidelines on day-to-day basis related to deal settlement for all type of assets classes 3) Updation and implementation of SOP Back Office 4) Managing various Investments Audits and ensure its smooth closures with Nil observation 5) Liaising with Banks, Custodian, Auditors & Vendors 6) Strengthening of MIS and share its analytical & data / MIS for Board and its Committees 7) Carrying out month / quarter end accounting & Investment schedules 8) Ensure smooth working of Investment System and carrying out UAT for new requirements. 9) Grooming team members E Skills Required Technical Behavioral Essential Desired Interpersonal skills Communication skills Creative thinking skills Supervising/Leadership skills Teamwork Skills Influencing skills Relationship Building skills Decision making skills 1.
