Job Summary The Electrician is responsible for installing maintaining troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facility This role ensures compliance with safety standards electrical codes and organizational policies Key Responsibilities 1 Installation Maintenance Install repair and maintain electrical wiring fixtures control panels and equipment Ensure proper functioning of lighting power outlets and electrical circuits Read and interpret electrical diagrams blueprints and technical manuals 2 Troubleshooting Repairs Identify and rectify electrical faults in a timely manner Conduct routine inspections to prevent electrical hazards or equipment failures Respond to emergency breakdowns efficiently minimizing downtime 3 Safety Compliance Follow safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and hazards Ensure compliance with local electrical codes standards and statutory requirements Maintain records of maintenance repairs and electrical inspections 4 Support Coordination Assist in planning and implementing electrical upgrades or new installations Coordinate with other maintenance staff contractors and vendors as required Provide technical guidance to junior electricians or apprentices 5 Preventive Maintenance Conduct preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and systems Test and maintain backup power systems generators and UPS systems Recommend improvements to optimize energy efficiency and reduce operational costs Qualifications Skills High School Diploma ITI Certificate or equivalent in Electrical Trade Minimum 2-5 years of experience in electrical installation maintenance and repair Strong knowledge of electrical systems tools and safety standards Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics Physical fitness and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces Key Competencies Problem-solving and analytical skills Attention to detail and safety-conscious Time management and reliability Teamwork and effective communication Adaptability to handle emergency situations Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Work Location In person
