Experience: 2 – 15 years (mix of Junior, Mid, Senior) Function: Horizontal PMO / Project Management Center of Excellence (supports all tracks: Automotive, IoT, Wireless Edge, Smart Devices) Locations: Hyderabad / Bangalore Employment type: Full-time The PM function will operate as a horizontal, shared service (PMO / Center of Excellence). PMs will not only run individual projects but also standardize delivery processes, maintain governance, allocate a shared pool of PM resources across programs, own cross-project reporting, and drive continuous improvement, training and tooling across VotaryTech’s engineering tracks. This ensures consistent delivery quality, efficient resource utilization, and faster capability building across the company - Shared resource management: Maintain a PM pool, perform cross-project prioritization, reallocate PM capacity dynamically to meet business priorities, and enable fast ramp-up for new programs. - PMO & governance: Create and enforce standard delivery frameworks (hybrid Agile for embedded, release gating, sign-off templates), and run governance cadences (lead steering committees, escalation matrix). - Central reporting & metrics: Own company-wide program dashboards, EVM (earned value), SLA compliance, utilization metrics, and executive summaries for leadership. - Standardisation & best practices: Build templates, playbooks, risk registers, change control processes and KB for embedded/IoT program delivery. Promote reuse across teams. - Capability building & training: Design and run internal PM upskilling (execution on embedded programs, budget modeling, technical fluency for firmware/Linux/SoC projects) and mentor junior PMs. - Tooling & automation: Own PM tooling standards (Jira/Confluence templates, automation for reporting, test/CI gating), and work with Business Ops/Finance to integrate budgeting and resource data. - Cross-functional liaison: Work closely with Engineering Leads, QA, Finance, HR/TA and Sales/BD to align on priorities, onboarding, vendor management and commercial impacts. - Delivery & escalation: Lead delivery for assigned programs, manage risks, negotiate scope/commercials, and serve as escalation point for cross-project conflicts . - Proven experience managing embedded/IoT/wireless/automotive programs and running PMO/CoE activities or shared services. - Strong skills in resource pooling, cross-project prioritization, governance, and central reporting. - Comfortable in a matrix organization and balancing functional (CoE) responsibilities with program ownership. - Domain fluency (C/C++, Linux, SoC vendors, wireless stacks) is strongly preferred so PMs can meaningfully challenge and partner with engineering leads. - Strong in stakeholder management (clients and internal leadership) and in designing repeatable delivery processes. - Degree in Engineering or equivalent; PM certifications (PMP/Prince2/Agile) are a plus.
