Software Engineering Senior AnalystPosition OverviewSoftware Engineer supporting Cigna s Provider Technology organization This role requires you to be fluent in some of the critical technologies with proficiency in others and have a hunger to learn on the job and add Value to the business Critical attributes of being a full-stack engineer among others is Ownership Accountability In addition to Delivery the Senior analyst should have an automation first and continuous improvement mindset He she should drive the adoption of CI CD tools and support the improvement of the tools sets processes This person needs to understand the interrelationships between systems and be able to write working software that will successfully integrate and interface these systems Responsibilities Design and implement the software in for provider experience group on various initiatives Provide support to our end-users by resolving their issues responding to queries and helping them analyze interpret the results from the models Develop code and unit test with variety of cloud services and infrastructure code using Terraform and testing automation pipeline Participate in peer code reviews Develop reusable infrastructure code for commonly occurring work across multiple processes and services Participate in planning and technical design discussions with other developers managers and architects to meet application requirements and performance goals Manage the Pipeline using JENKINS to move the application to higher environments such as System Testing User Acceptance Testing Release Testing and Users Training environments Contribute to production support to resolve application production issues Follow the guidelines of Cloud COE and other teams for production deployment and maintenance activities for all applications running in AWS Manage the application demos to business users and Product Owners regularly in Sprint and PI demos Work with Business users and Product Owners to understand business requirements Participate in Program Increment PI planning and user stories grooming with Scrum masters developers QA Analysts and product owners Participate in daily stand-up meetings to provide daily work status updates to the Scrum master and product owner following Agile Methodology Understand best practices for using the Guarantee Managements tools and applications Previous experience working as a react js developer In-depth knowledge of JavaScript CSS HTML and front-end languages Knowledge of REACT tools including React js Webpack Enzyme Redux and Flux Experience with user interface design Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software Excellent troubleshooting skills Qualifications Overall Years of Experience 3- 5 Years Front-end Engineering 3 years experience with ReactJS framework web development and UX design Experience in Microservice Architecture Experience in Unit Testing automation Test Driven Development and use of mocking frameworks Experience working in Agile Scrum teams Hands on experience in infrastructure as a code in a Terraform Hands on Experience in AWS Cloud Development Experience in CI CD tools such as AWS CloudFormation Jenkins Conduits GitHub Experience with enterprise security Including IAM Roles Policies Auth0 Okta Encryption API Gateways Firewalls Private Cloud Experience in SSO SAML OPENID Experience with Application Monitoring Tools Splunk CloudWatch Dynatrace etc Provides counsel and advice to top management on significant Engineering matters often requiring coordination between organizations Participates in the delivery of the definitive enterprise information environment that enables strategic decision-making capabilities across enterprise via an analytics and reporting Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications Reviewing application requirements and interface designs Identifying web-based user interactions Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using react concepts Writing application interface codes using JavaScript following react js workflows Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts Monitoring and improving front-end performance Documenting application changes and developing updates Candidate should be a self-starter and be able to get productive from day one Excellent communication skills is a must along with ability to work under tight deadlines Health Insurance experience is a plus Location Hours of Work Full-time position working 40 hours per week Expected
