Scopely is looking for an Associate Game Designer Slots to join the Casino team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis At Scopely we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play every day - whether in our work environments alongside our talented colleagues or through our deep connections with our communities of players We are a global team of game lovers who are developing publishing and innovating the mobile games industry connecting millions of people around the world daily The GSN Casino team is home to slots bingo cards and more Work on incredible games including a top-10 grossing app alongside the best in the business What You ll Do Want to build truly unique games played by millions of daily users As a Game Designer at Scopely you will work closely with our Product and Production teams on game development and strategy You will balance both quantitative and qualitative insights to design and optimize smart engaging features for our active and growing user base Responsibilities include Create clear and comprehensive feature documentation including diagrams wireframes prototypes and detailed design specifications Analyze live player data and feedback to optimize gameplay experiences and inform future feature development Write engaging editorial content such as in-game fiction feature descriptions copywriting and tutorials Stay up to date with industry trends emerging genres and competitor products to identify new opportunities Conduct competitor research and regularly playtest games to benchmark and inspire design improvements Review and provide feedback on both your own work and the team s output to ensure quality and continuous improvement Develop initial concept documents based on market research and present pitches to stakeholders Define and manage the creative direction of games throughout development and the full product lifecycle Lead the design and execution of multiple game projects ensuring alignment with business and product goals Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams engineering art sound QA data analytics product and management to bring designs from concept to implementation Design and manage promotional campaigns to support product launches and re-engagement efforts Model balance and tune complex game systems in collaboration with mathematicians Analyze data in collaboration with our analysts draw actionable conclusions and design features that respond to player behavior and performance insights What We re Looking For 2 years game design experience for a shipped product Designed games from conception to completion Ability to analyze gameplay mechanics and feature designs Experience and interest with player-driven economies Able to design game systems individual gameplay features player progressions Understanding of game balance including statistics virtual goods economics and user motivations Understanding of interaction design concepts and principles Able to excel in an agile team environment Outstanding written and oral communication Experience writing product specifications A passion for playing and making video games Bachelor s degree required game design degree a plus At Scopely we create games for everyone -
