Network EngineerBachelor's /Master's degree in information technology-related field of study with a network engineering focus.Experience in a technical environment with demonstrated enterprise-level network troubleshooting in Managed Services EnvironmentJob Responsibilities:-Certifications: CCNA, JNCIA, Fortinet NSE4, ITIL preferred.Willingness and desire to continue advancing technical expertise through collaboration with Engineers, Architects, and pursuit of technical certificationsFirewalls/VPNConcepts - ASA/ Netscreen/FWSM (Anyone), AAA (Radius, Tacacs), 802.1x, IPsec (IKE, ESP, AH, tunnel mode, transport mode), Remote access & Site-to-site VPN.Ability to follow and document standard processes and proceduresThe engineer should have intermediate to advanced knowledge and hands-on in the below-mentioned technological areas.Routing - Advanced Routing, PBR, OSPF, BGP, EIGRPSwitching â CatOS/IOS/Nexus, VLAN, STP, RSTP, VDC, HSRP/VRRP, VSS, Nexus VPC, FEX-Fabric.Link Management & QoS - LAN/WAN/ Links troubleshooting.Understanding of attack i.e. spoofing, DHCP snooping, DAI, Zone based firewall concept, NAT/PAT,Server Load Balancer Concepts - BIGIP-F5/Netscaler/Radware (anyone )Load balancing â Understanding of Application i.e. HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, FTP etc. load balancing method, One/ two arm setup, persistency, Content switching, SSL offloadingAbility to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment, maintain a positive attitude, and quickly adapt to changing priorities and new technologiesAbility to multitask and successfully operate in a fast-paced, team environmentStrong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate across all levelsAbility/flexibility for after-hours work and escalations in support of our 24x7xAlways operationAbility to adapt to the dynamic environmentsStrong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers.Understand and validate the alerts following the approved standard operating procedures. Inspect network alerts and if the anomaly is identified, minimize the service impact, and restore services to normalcy following the set process and procedures.Gather necessary information to understand current network issues, and work to diagnose with service providers and customers. Follow-up issues until resolution and identifies the root cause of the problems.Understand customer network infrastructure and migrations for small customers in order to improve network performance. Participate in device replacement.Recommend continual service improvement for customers' networks and systems.Participate in customer quarterly review meetings to review performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement to make the environment more secure, efficient, and optimized for cost and performanceDocument customer's issues, standard processes and procedures, communications, steps taken to resolve, and status through ServiceNow.Provide On-call support for tier 2 technical issues BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech
