Job Description Job Title: L2 System Engineer Location: PAN India (Willing to relocate to Dubai) Experience: 6-10 Years Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and proactive L2 System Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing intermediate-level technical support for system infrastructure, troubleshooting escalated issues from L1 teams, and assisting in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of servers, storage, and operating systems. This role requires a strong understanding of system administration, virtualization, and enterprise IT environments to ensure the reliability and performance of the organization's IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Incident Management and Troubleshooting: - Handle escalated system-related issues from L1 teams and provide timely resolution. - Perform advanced troubleshooting for servers, storage systems, and operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux). - Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement corrective actions. System Maintenance And Monitoring - Monitor system health and performance using tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or similar platforms. - Perform routine maintenance tasks, including patch management, firmware updates, and system backups. - Ensure systems are operating optimally and securely. Configuration And Deployment - Assist in the configuration, installation, and deployment of servers, storage devices, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). - Implement user access controls, group policies, and security configurations as per organizational standards. - Support system upgrades and migrations in collaboration with L3 engineers.
