1. Job Brief : Detailed Job Description : Exchange Server & Exchange Online Management - Administer and maintain Exchange Server 2019 and hybrid Exchange Online environments. - Perform mailbox migrations, patching, and upgrades. - Monitor and troubleshoot mail flow, transport rules, and connectors. Email Security & Protection - Configure and manage Proofpoint Email Protection including spam filtering, encryption, and threat detection. - Implement and maintain email hygiene policies and secure gateway configurations. - Collaborate with security teams to respond to phishing and malware incidents. Mail Flow Optimization - Analyze and optimize mail routing and delivery performance. - Manage DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) for email authentication. - Ensure redundancy and failover mechanisms are in place and tested. Monitoring & Troubleshooting - Use tools like Exchange Admin Center, PowerShell, and Proofpoint dashboards for proactive monitoring. - Resolve issues related to mail delivery, mailbox access, and performance. - Maintain documentation of configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions. Collaboration & Support - Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to support messaging infrastructure. - Provide Tier 2/3 support for email-related incidents and service requests. - Participate in audits and compliance reviews related to messaging systems. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in enterprise messaging systems. - Strong expertise in: Microsoft Exchange Server 2019 Exchange Online (Microsoft 365) Proofpoint Email Protection PowerShell scripting for Exchange administration - Familiarity with hybrid Exchange deployments and mail flow troubleshooting. - Understanding of email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC). Required Soft Skills: - Analytical Thinking – Ability to diagnose complex messaging issues and implement effective solutions. - Communication – Clear and professional communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Attention to Detail – Precision in managing configurations, logs, and security settings. - Team Collaboration – Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and sharing knowledge. - Adaptability – Ability to respond to evolving threats and changing infrastructure needs. - Customer Service Orientation – Focused on delivering reliable and secure email services to end users. 1. Key responsiblities - Manage and maintain on-premises Exchange 2019/SE servers, Hybrid, M365 EXO, Proofpoint Email Protection. - Configure and manage email security solutions like Proofpoint email protection/SER (secure email relay) and ensure the policies/rules are reviewed periodically. - Knowledge in ITIL process.
