We are currently seeking a Java with Kafka to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).

- Summary of Role:

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our clients Digital Platform Team, playing a critical role in delivering digitally enabled banking solutions. This role offers an exciting and challenging opportunity for engineers with 5+ years of experience to work on event-driven architectures, real-time data processing, and hybrid cloud environments. You will develop resilient, scalable, and high-performance applications while contributing to the evolution of best-in-class engineering practices within the bank.

- What You Will Do:

Application Development & Engineering:

- Design, develop, test, and support event-driven applications with a focus on low latency and high throughput.
- Work with Kafka Producers, Consumers, Topics, Partitions, ensuring efficient message modelling using Avro schemas.
- Develop Kafka Streams-based applications, implementing windowing, joins, and aggregations for complex stream processing.
- Implement best practices for security, distributed tracing, debugging, and performance tuning in Kafka clusters.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business value through modern software engineering practices.
- Influence the evolution of engineering capabilities through the adoption of new tools, technologies, and best practices.
- Engage with nearshore and offshore IT partners to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of the engineering function and adopt DevOps best practices.

Agile & DevOps Integration:

- Utilize CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, and Git to ensure smooth software delivery.
- Monitor system performance using Prometheus and Grafana, implementing proactive observability and alerting mechanisms.
- Work within Agile methodologies, participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Required Skillset:

Core Technical Skills:

- 5+ years of experience in software development with exposure to high-performance, scalable applications.
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud Stream for building microservices.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architectures, event streaming, and distributed systems.
- Deep knowledge of Kafka, Kafka Streams, and related stream processing concepts.

Tools & Technologies:

- CI/CD Tooling: Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, Git.
- Monitoring & Observability: Prometheus, Grafana.
- Cloud & Hybrid Environments: Experience in hybrid cloud application deployment.

Soft Skills & Collaboration:

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience working in Agile environments and following best practices for software development.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing as a strong team player.
