Hubbell Electrical Products LLP located in Chennai is poised to assist with part and product manufacturing for all Hubbell Business units Job Location Burndy Technology & Global Business Services Pvt Ltd 13th Floor, Zenith (Phase 3) International Tech Park ,CSIR Road Taramani, Chennai ,Tamil Nadu -600113 Job Profile We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 3-5 years of experience with proven expertise in CAD API programming using C# .net/ VB .net and create/customizing applications to automate 3D models and 2D drawings in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. A Day In The Life The following roles and responsibilities will be required to fulfil the position and are not all inclusive. - Work closely with the business unit and drive the requirements. - Responsible for the development, design, and implementation of new or modified software products or ongoing business projects. - Write the program codes as per defined standards. - Interact with Customers to understand the requirements. - Involve in periodical reviews with customers and provide project updates. - Involve in Technical discussion with customers based on requirements. - Data management using Vault professional. - Update applicable reports in timely manner. - Good Team player - Develop good interaction with Team lead and team members. What will help you thrive in this role - 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in CAD automation, with a preference for experience in Autodesk Inventor API programming. - Strong skills in C#/.NET/Winforms/WPF. - Capability to convert design intent into CAD logic. - Ability to debug and resolve issues in Visual studio. - Knowledge of iLogic and AutoCAD scripting. - Good analytical and logical thinking. - Strong mechanical drawing interpretation skills. - Self-driven and able to handle less-defined tasks.
