Key Responsibilities: Lead the design development of multiple interior design projects, from concept to installation. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, vision, and requirements to deliver designs that meet their objectives. Prepare mood boards, color schemes, layouts, and 3D renderings to communicate design ideas effectively. Develop and manage design presentations, including sketches, plans, and material selections. Oversee the selection of furniture, finishes, fixtures, and other design elements. Ensure that design solutions are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with project budgets and timelines. Manage and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support on design decisions and project execution. Work closely with project managers and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the construction and installation process. Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and industry best practices. Maintain strong communication with clients, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the design process. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum of 3 years of experience in interior design, with a proven track record of successfully completed projects. Strong portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of design styles and completed projects. Expertise in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp and other industry-standard tools. Exceptional spatial awareness and understanding of architectural plans and drawings. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills: Experience in both residential and commercial interior design projects. Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., SketchUp) Leadership and team management experience.
