Job Title Finance Business Partner - External Marketplace Department Finance Location Bengaluru KarnatakaReports To CFO- Ecommerce Wholesale New BusinessResponsibilities xe2x97x8f Business Partnering xe2x97x8b Build strong and collaborative relationships with multiple teams and leaders e g External marketplace team marketing supply warehouse etc to understand business priorities and challenges xe2x97x8b Proactively identify and analyze key business drivers and trends impacting external marketplace performance xe2x97x8b Translate business objectives into financial targets and track progress towards achieving them xe2x97x8b Provide insightful and actionable financial analysis to support decision-making across all aspects of the external marketplace business xe2x97x8f Financial Planning Analysis xe2x97x8b Develop and maintain accurate and timely financial forecasts and budgets for the vertical xe2x97x8b Conduct in-depth financial analysis on key performance indicators KPIs such revenue gross margin customer acquisition cost CAC customer lifetime value CL and conversion rates xe2x97x8b Analyze marketing spend effectiveness and ROI across various channels e g paid advertising social media email marketing - FBP- External Marketplaces xe2x97x8b Prepare insightful presentations and reports to communicate financial performance and insights to senior management xe2x97x8f Strategic Initiatives xe2x97x8b Support the development and evaluation of new initiatives and strategies including development of business models for such initiatives xe2x97x8b Conduct financial feasibility studies and business case analyses for new product launches marketing campaigns and pricing strategies xe2x97x8b Identify and quantify potential risks and opportunities within the business xe2x97x8f Accounting Control xe2x97x8b Responsible for the month-end close process for the business including revenue recognition expense analysis and reconciliations xe2x97x8b Responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the verticals balance sheet xe2x97x8b Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls xe2x97x8b Monitor and analyze key financial metrics to identify and address any potential issues or discrepancies xe2x97x8f Process Improvement xe2x97x8b Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis xe2x97x8b Develop and maintain robust financial models and reporting dashboards xe2x97x8b Automate routine tasks to free up time for strategic analysis Qualifications xe2x97x8f Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field xe2x97x8f 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis with a strong preference for experience with brand listed on major e-commerce platforms xe2x97x8f 2 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting roles xe2x97x8f Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with business partners xe2x97x8f Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights xe2x97x8f Advanced proficiency in Excel including data analysis and modeling techniques xe2x97x8f Experience with data visualization tools e g Tableau Power BI is a plusxe2x97x8f Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences xe2x97x8f A highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for e-commerce Benefits Benefits include a competitive salary health insurance paid time off professional development opportunities etc
