Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Pune for a Medical Advisor (MBBS) – Patient Experience & Consultation. The Medical Advisor will be responsible for ensuring superior patient experiences, providing medical consultations, and coordinating care plans. The role involves collaborating with medical staff, overseeing medical affairs, and delivering medical education sessions. The Medical Advisor will also engage in research and oversee market access strategies to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Patient Consultation & Pre-Screening:

Speak with prospective patients to understand their medical concerns, goals, and expectations. Guide them on suitable treatment options and assess basic eligibility based on medical history.

- Medical Report Analysis:

Review diagnostic reports and medical documents to assist in preliminary evaluation before forwarding to partner hospitals or specialists.

- Treatment Coordination:

Help patients understand recommended procedures, expected outcomes, recovery timelines, and pre/post-operative care essentials.

- Bridge Between Patient & Surgeon:

Act as a medical liaison—translating clinical information into patient-friendly language and ensuring smooth communication between patients and healthcare providers.

- Trust-Building & Support:

Provide empathetic, medically accurate advice to build trust and alleviate patient anxiety—especially for those traveling overseas for surgery.

- Data Accuracy & Documentation:

Ensure that patient data, preferences, and medical information are recorded accurately and shared securely with relevant partners.

- Ethical Guidance & Compliance:

Uphold patient confidentiality, ethical practices, and informed consent standards in all interactions.

- Post-Consultation Follow-Up:

Check in with patients at key milestones before and after travel, ensuring continuity of care and satisfaction with Luxora’s service.
