Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cyber Security Auditor role located in Mumbai (onsite). The professional will conduct IT audits, assess cybersecurity protocols, evaluate network and information security systems, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Key responsibilities include identifying vulnerabilities, providing actionable recommendations, and collaborating with teams to strengthen organizational security posture. - Lead and conduct comprehensive audits across IT systems, cybersecurity protocols, and information systems for financial institutions including banks, NBFCs, asset management companies, stockbrokers, depositories, and payment system operators. - Plan, execute, and manage end-to-end audit engagementscovering risk assessments, scoping, fieldwork, and final reporting. - Evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of information security controls and risk management frameworks. - Ensure audit activities align with applicable regulations, industry standards, and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, RBI/SEBI guidelines). - Identify control gaps, vulnerabilities, and process inefficiencies, providing actionable recommendations for improvement. - Draft and deliver clear, concise audit reports outlining key findings, risks, and proposed corrective actions. - Present audit results and risk assessments to senior management and executive stakeholders, supporting follow-up and remediation initiatives. Qualifications - Proficiency in IT Audit and Information Technology practices - Strong knowledge and experience in Cybersecurity and Network Security - Understanding of Information Security Management principles and frameworks - Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field - Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CISM are highly desirable - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly. - Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a dynamic environment.
