Job Description Security Supervisor GVK Emergency Management and Research Institute (GVK EMRI) is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee daily security operations. If you're a proactive individual with a keen eye for safety and security, we encourage you to apply. Role & Responsibilities: - Supervise day-to-day security operations to ensure the safety and security of premises, assets, and personnel. - Monitor surveillance equipment and respond promptly to alarms or incidents. - Conduct regular patrols and inspections to identify and address potential security risks. - Manage and train security guards, ensuring adherence to security protocols and procedures. - Prepare and submit detailed incident reports and daily logs. - Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary. - Implement and enforce security policies and procedures as directed by management. - Respond to emergency situations such as medical emergencies, fires, or disturbances. Preferred Candidate Profile: - Education: Any Graduate. - Proven experience in a security supervision role, preferably within an NGO, social services, or similar industry. - Strong understanding of security protocols, risk assessment, and incident management. - Excellent communication and leadership skills. - Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure. - Relevant security certifications (e.g., in security management, first aid) are a plus.
