Job Description Key Responsibilities: - Software Development: Lead the development of complex PHP-based web applications, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability. - Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of PHP developers on best practices, coding standards, and architectural decisions. - Architectural Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and architect solutions aligned with business and technical goals. - Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain consistency and quality in the codebase. - Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, implement optimizations, and conduct load testing. - Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, development guidelines, and code documentation. - Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely solutions. - Security: Implement and enforce security best practices to protect applications from vulnerabilities. - Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. - Development Lifecycle Management: Oversee requirements gathering, estimation, project planning, and timely delivery of projects. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's preferred) - Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and manage a team of developers - Strong proficiency in PHP and frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony - Knowledge of web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX - Experience with version control systems like Git and agile development methodologies - Database design knowledge and SQL optimization skills - Familiarity with front-end technologies and JavaScript frameworks is a plus - Excellent problem-solving, debugging, communication, and teamwork skills
