Qualifications:

2. He/ She must have a thorough working knowledge of STAAD, ETABS, AutoCAD, and MS Office.

3. He/ She should have a clear understanding of basic concepts of analysis and design of structures.

4. He/ She should be a team player and able to lead the team.

4. He/ She should have effective English communication skills.

Key responsibilities shall include:

1. Creating an accurate 3D model for structural design in the design software from the given drawings, hand sketches, verbal instructions, and site visits.

2. Assigning properties, materials, supports, specifications, loading, analysis, design parameters, etc. to complete the model for structural analysis and design.

3. Performing the preliminary analysis and design of the structural model and reviewing and checking it for errors.

4. Understanding and checking the behavior of the design model with the expected behavior of the adopted structural system.

5. Performing analysis and design of structural elements manually or using spreadsheets.

6. Preparing a detailed Bill of Materials from the design and/or drawings.

7. Creating design drawings, rebar drawings, shop drawings, erection drawings, and GA drawings during various stages of the project.

8. Seamlessly integrating and working with project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, and site engineers, to produce and alter design and drawings.

9. Thinking creatively and critically to support the project team in the design process, to create sketches and drawings that work.

10. Describing the design to extract the high-quality detailed drawings from the draftsman.

11. Creating and continually updating project drawings and document lists.

12. Printing various formats of drawing sets for project managers and engineers.

13. Systematically saving all the design and drawing data on our server; keeping the server organized; updating project folders and files as jobs progress and revisions are made.

14. Exhaustively reviewing and checking sketches and drawings for errors in coordination with design engineers, and draftsmen, before being sent to Sr. engineers, and project managers.

15. Seeking clarity and understanding from engineers, draftsmen, and project managers when one is uncertain about something.

16. Create, edit, and update standard details for use in projects.
