Job Description The Role We are seeking a skilled SAP S/4HANA Tester with strong experience in Sales & Distribution (SD) and Global Trade Services (GTS) modules. The consultant will be responsible for validating end-to-end business processes, ensuring functional accuracy, compliance, and seamless integration between SD, GTS, and other related SAP modules. The role emphasizes business process understanding, test design, execution, and integration validation, supporting high-quality releases across global trade and sales operations. Key Responsibilities - Understand and validate Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Export/Import trade processes in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with business requirements. - Design, document, and execute functional, integration, and regression test cases for SD and GTS modules, covering both standard and custom functionalities. - Validate trade compliance, customs management, and export control processes within SAP GTS. - Verify integration between SD, GTS, MM, and FI modules, ensuring accurate data flow across systems. - Test GTS functionality such as Sanctioned Party List (SPL) screening, Embargo checks, License Determination, and Customs Declarations. - Collaborate with SAP functional teams, business users, and integration partners to ensure complete test coverage and issue resolution. - Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) prepare data, execute key scenarios, and assist business users in validating compliance and trade flows. - Identify, log, and manage defects in Jira (or similar tools), track resolutions, and support defect retesting. - Verify master data consistency (Customer, Material, Partner, Legal Control) and its impact across SD and GTS transactions. - Collaborate with automation or QA teams to identify potential areas for automation enablement within the in-house test framework. - Provide test progress updates, coverage metrics, and quality dashboards to stakeholders. Required Skills & Expertise - SAP S/4HANA SD Expertise: - Sales Order Management, Pricing, Delivery, and Billing - Credit Management and Returns - Integration with GTS, MM, and FI modules - SAP GTS Expertise: - Sanctioned Party List (SPL) Screening and Embargo Management - License Determination and Legal Control - Customs Management, Declarations, and Export/Import Processes - Compliance and Trade Preference Management - Strong understanding of integration flows between SD and GTS, including data replication, partner roles, and document handoff. - Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications, standard transactions, and reporting. - Proficiency in designing test cases, test data, and business validation scenarios aligned with real-world trade and sales operations. - Experience using test management tools like Jira, Zephyr, or TestRail.
