We work with some of the most respected names in railways, oil & gas, infrastructure, and heavy engineering.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced engineer specialising in rubber expansion joints — from design and material selection to production oversight and quality assurance. This is a core technical role for someone who has already delivered full-cycle expansion joint projects and can independently manage design, procurement, manufacturing, and QC.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and engineer rubber expansion joints using CAD (2D/3D) with production-ready drawings.
- Identify, source, and procure bought-out components (flanges, tie rods, reinforcements, etc.) with technical precision.
- Supervise production processes, ensuring dimensional accuracy, curing quality, and finishing standards.
- Develop and implement quality control protocols — visual, dimensional, and functional testing.
- Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely and spec-compliant delivery.
- Troubleshoot design or production challenges with practical, effective solutions.

Requirements:

- Minimum: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech preferred).
- Mandatory: CAD proficiency (SolidWorks/AutoCAD or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of direct, hands-on experience in rubber expansion joint design, manufacturing, and QC (metallic-only experience will not be considered).
- Strong understanding of rubber compounding basics, reinforcement types, and joint geometry.
- Vendor management and procurement expertise for bought-out items.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication across production, vendors, and clients.
- High accountability and strong attention to detail.
