Location: East Asia / South-East Asia (remote working)

Reports to: Head of Marketing & Campaigns, APAC

Position Summary: Secretly Distribution is seeking a full-time Marketing & Campaigns Manager for the APAC region for our growing family of distributed artists and labels, including our in-house label groups Secretly Group, All Flowers Group, Numero Group and Merge Records and our distributed labels and management clients such as Rhymesayers, Captured Tracks, A24, Sacred Bones, Third Man, Hayley Williams, David Gray and many more. As part of Secretly Distribution's global marketing team, the Marketing & Campaigns manager will work closely with the Head of Marketing & Campaigns for APAC, liaising with our inhouse digital, retail, label relations and sales teams to enhance priority release, catalogue and label campaigns within the territories. The successful candidate will need to be an ambitious self-starter working and staying organised in a busy environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines. The candidate will be able to think creatively and will have an ability to work collaboratively with international teams based in a variety of time-zones and territories.

Responsibilities

- Liaise with our inhouse digital and retail teams to help create marketing campaigns, assist with label timelines and help manage budgets across the Secretly Distribution roster
- Craft campaign budgets to present to labels/clients advising on a variety of spends across numerous platforms and ensuring both SD and the label adhere to budgets.
- Provide sales targets both internally and to labels and clients.
- Build close relationships with third party publicists, radio pluggers, marketing companies, physical retailers, promoters and other external promotional companies
- Supply local teams with the necessary tools and assets to successfully implement campaigns
- Oversee cross-territory expenditure on advertising: digital, print, outdoor, content & influencer campaigns and any other relevant modes of marketing
- Provide reports and regular updates to label clients and other stakeholders across active campaigns
- Liaise with local DSP offices and contacts to promote the roster
- Be an active voice during meetings with colleagues, clients, retail accounts, distribution partners and many other stakeholders
- Optimise touring & festival appearances to help promote and market releases
- Collaborate closely with our physical distribution network to create innovative retail marketing campaigns and maximise new release and catalogue sales
- Attend shows and be an on-the-ground contact for non-domestic touring artists
- Travel to industry events across the region as required

The Ideal Candidate Demonstrates

- 2 years of project management or other relevant industry experience across the APAC region
- Campaign management experience in the Asian market
- Fluent in English
- Familiarity with the independent music community
- Strong organizational, verbal and written skills
- An enthusiasm for delivering creative and budgeted marketing strategies & campaigns, following industry news, utilising emerging technologies and looking for areas of growth in the independent music sector
