Responsibilities We're looking for an experienced Senior Security Researcher to join our Threatlabz team to contribute as Security Researcher, Reporting to the Senior Manager,Threat Research. You'll be responsible for: - Conducting comprehensive analysis of security logs from platforms and Investigate and assess suspicious activity across networks and cloud environments - Hunting for emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and indicators of compromise (IoCs) using advanced techniques and tools - Creating detailed and insightful CXO reports summarising findings from log analysis and threat investigations - Supporting incident response efforts by identifying root causes and recommending remediation strategies - Providing recommendations to customers for improving their security posture based on log analysis and observed threats What We're Looking For (Minimum Qualifications) - Minimum 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, focusing on log analysis and threat hunting - Expertise in tools used for log analysis and security monitoring - Knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK or Cyber Kill Chain - Ability to analyse and interpret traffic patterns and malicious payloads - Proficient in incident investigation and identifying IoCs What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) - Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash to automate log parsing and threat detection tasks - Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce customer-facing documentation At Zscaler, we are committed to building a team that reflects the communities we serve and the customers we work with.
