Job description Some careers shine brighter than others If you re looking for a career that will help you stand out join HSBC and fulfil your potential Whether you want a career that could take you to the top or simply take you in an exciting new direction HSBC offers opportunities support and rewards that will take you further HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world with operations in 64 countries and territories We aim to be where the growth is enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper and ultimately helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist In this role you will Lead development efforts with expertise in Java Java 8 Microservices Spring Boot 3 0 0 PostgreSQL JPA React TypeScript JavaScript Apache Flink Apache Beam and MongoDB Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform GCP services including Dataflow BigQuery Clickhouse Cloud Storage Pub Sub GCS and Composer Proficient in Apache Airflow including designing and writing complex DAGs for orchestrating workflows and automating pipelines Design develop and maintain scalable high-performance pipelines and cloud-native solutions with a focus on ETL processes using Apache Flink and Spring Boot Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and deliver new features while ensuring data quality integrity and security Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines and applications and provide technical guidance to team members Stay updated with the latest technologies best practices and industry trends Requirements To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements 8-10 years of experience in development engineering with a focus on ETL processes and data pipeline development Proven expertise in Java SQL and cloud-native technologies with the ability to code and troubleshoot complex issues Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with experience in collaborating with senior business stakeholders Hands-on experience with Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments and monitoring tools like Prometheus Grafana or Stackdriver Knowledge of security best practices for cloud and Kubernetes environments Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools is a plus Relevant industry certifications and a Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field Excellent communication skills with the ability to report risks issues and propose mitigation plans effectively You ll achieve more when you join HSBC www hsbc com careers HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued respected and opinions count We take pride in providing a workplace that fosters continuous professional development flexible working and opportunities to grow within an inclusive and diverse environment Personal data held by the Bank relating to employment applications will be used in accordance with our Privacy Statement which is available on our website Issued by - HSBC Software Development India
