About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer with strong experience in CodeIgniter and Laravel frameworks to join our Mumbai team. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, CodeIgniter, and Laravel.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for various applications.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Maintain technical documentation and adhere to project deadlines.

Required Skills:

- Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, CodeIgniter, and Laravel frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party API integrations.
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and front-end frameworks.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git preferred).
- Understanding of MVC architecture and OOP concepts.
- Ability to write efficient SQL queries and optimize database performance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with AWS, Docker, or cloud deployment.
- Familiarity with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
- Exposure to front-end frameworks like Vue.js or React.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
