Pattern Maker

Job Description Key Responsibilities: - Create first patterns based on designer sketches, technical drawings, or specifications. - Develop both manual (paper) and digital patterns using tools like Gerber, Lectra, TUKAcad, or CLO 3D. - Adjust patterns based on fit sessions, designer feedback, and sample evaluations. - Ensure pattern accuracy in terms of measurement, balance, and grading. - Conduct sample fittings and collaborate with technical designers and sample makers. - Maintain pattern library and documentation for different styles and sizes. - Provide production-ready patterns with all necessary details: notches, grainlines, seam allowances, etc. - Troubleshoot pattern issues related to fabric performance, construction, or sizing. - Collaborate with cutting and sewing teams to resolve manufacturing challenges. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Technology, or related field. - 3+ years of experience in pattern making for fashion or apparel manufacturing. - Proficient in pattern drafting, draping, and grading techniques. - Skilled in pattern-making software (e.g., Gerber, Lectra, TUKAcad, Optitex, or CLO 3D). - Strong knowledge of garment construction, sizing, and fit standards. - Familiarity with various fabric types and their behavior. - Understanding of industrial sewing processes and finishing techniques.
