Role Description We are seeking an experienced and technically hands-on Engineering Manager with a strong background in .NET and MSSQL, preferably from the Logistics or SaaS domain. This role requires someone who can take complete ownership of engineering delivery, guide a team of 10+ developers, and drive architectural and technical excellence while also aligning closely with product and business goals. You will spend 60-70% of your time on core technology decisions and hands-on involvement, and 30-40% on functional leadership including delivery, team performance, and stakeholder collaboration. What you'll do? Technical Ownership (70%) • Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using .NET (C#) and MSSQL. • Provide technical guidance, architecture reviews, and hands-on mentorship to the engineering team. • Maintain high standards of software quality through code reviews and development best practices. • Identify and address technical debt, system performance issues, and potential bottlenecks. • Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements in tools and frameworks. Team & Delivery Management (30-40%) • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of 10+ engineers across backend, frontend, and database functions. • Drive engineering planning, sprint execution, and timely delivery of features in collaboration with Product and QA. • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality, ve locity, and operational efficiency. • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning. • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. Required Skills & Experience • 10+ years of software engineering experience, with deep expertise in .NET (C#) and MSSQL. • At least 3-4 years in a managerial or leadership role leading 10+ engineers. • Strong background in Logistics, Supply Chain, or SaaS product development. • Experience in delivering enterprise-grade platforms with focus on reliability, performance, and security. • Proven track record in technical decision-making, delivery management, and cross-functional collaboration. Nice to Have: • Familiarity with web technologies like Angular, React. • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and CI/CD pipelines. • Experience with additional databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.). • Agile/Scrum experience and understanding of DevOps principles.
