The Brigade Centre of Excellence & Skills Foundation (BCESF) is a pioneering initiative designed to empower India's youth—especially from rural and disadvantaged backgrounds—by providing high-impact, industry-aligned training in Construction, Hospitality, Retail, and Manufacturing, with a strong focus on Industry 4.0 and digital technologies. Supported by Brigade Group and BCIC (as Knowledge Partner), BCESF aims to become a national model of inclusive, outcome-driven skill development.

Role Summary:

We are looking for a visionary and execution-focused leader with proven experience in establishing and scaling vocational training programs. The CEO will be the institutional anchor responsible for developing BCESF into a national Centre of excellence—building robust systems, ensuring learner outcomes, strengthening industry partnerships, and institutionalizing a culture of Skill, Speed, Scale, and Sustainability (4S).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership & Governance

- Convert the strategic vision into a time-bound execution plan with clear milestones and KPIs.
- Ensure alignment with national skilling priorities, government initiatives, and the institution's vision.
- Operate within a governance framework that ensures transparency, regular review, and accountability to the Board.

2. Curriculum Development & Pedagogical Excellence

- Lead structured and systematic development of NSQF-aligned, industry-certified curriculum across 40+ trades.
- Drive faculty development, certification, and use of modern teaching-learning methods (digital tools, AR/VR, AI tutors).
- Build a competency-based training ecosystem focused on job-readiness and career mobility.

3. Program Management & Delivery

- Oversee seamless rollout of foundational, sectoral, and advanced skilling programs.
- Drive adoption of simulation labs, smart classrooms, and blended learning for scale and engagement.
- Monitor training quality, completion rates, and learner feedback to continuously improve delivery.

4. Financial & Operational Management

- Build an operationally sound institution with efficient resource planning and process discipline.
- Ensure optimal utilization of infrastructure and technology for training, accommodation, and campus operations.
- Align all teams toward timely achievement of program goals and institutional benchmarks.

5. Industry & Government Engagement

- Build strategic relationships with industry leaders, sector skill councils, chambers (BCIC), and apprenticeship networks.
- Pursue affiliations and program linkages with NSDC, PMKVY, DDUGKY, and RPL frameworks in a phased manner.
- Facilitate high placement outcomes through continuous employer engagement.

6. People Leadership & Culture Building

- Recruit and lead a high-performing team of academic coordinators, trainers, mobilizers, and administrative staff.
- Foster a work culture rooted in discipline, time management, accountability, and learner-centricity.
- Institutionalize structured staff onboarding, training, and performance management systems.

7. Community Mobilization & Outreach

- Design and implement strategies to attract rural, semi-urban, and underprivileged youth.
- Promote BCESF as an aspirational brand for youth empowerment through skilling.
- Drive inclusive practices, with a focus on reaching women and first-generation learners.

Candidate Profile:

Educational Qualifications:

- Engineering or Technical Graduate (mandatory) with a strong academic background.
- Additional qualifications in management, development, or education (desirable but not essential).

Professional Experience:

- 20+ years of progressive leadership experience, especially in:
- Vocational training and skilling ecosystems
- Setting up and scaling employability training initiatives
- Working with CSR, government schemes, or large social development programs

Core Competencies:

- Strong business acumen and financial planning capabilities
- Hands-on experience with government and industry collaboration
- Exposure to digital learning tools (AR/VR, AI, LMS, digital twins)
- Ability to build and lead multidisciplinary teams with high ownership
- Deep people management skills and empathy-driven leadership
- Highly structured, process-oriented with result accountability
