Job Description Job Title- Data Engineer Senior -5 to 9 Years Location -Gurugram Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain database applications using SQL and Oracle PL/SQL. Write and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers. Develop automation and data processing scripts using Python. Implement and support solutions on AWS Cloud, ensuring performance, security, and scalability. Manage and schedule data workflows using Control-M or similar job scheduling tools. Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps processes using Jenkins or other automation tools. Utilize PyCharm or Visual Studio Code (VSCode) for efficient development and debugging. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, business analysts, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in unit testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning activities. Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and documentation requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 46 years of hands-on experience in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL development. 2+ years of experience with Python programming and scripting. Strong working knowledge of AWS Cloud services and deployment practices. Experience with job scheduling tools (preferably Control-M). Familiarity with Jenkins and DevOps principles for automation and integration. Proficiency in PyCharm or VSCode IDEs for development. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Good to Have: Exposure to cloud-native databases or AWS RDS. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks. Knowledge of shell scripting or other scripting languages. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
