This is a remote position.

What you'll do

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard tools.

- Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure quality is built into every stage of the SDLC.

- Design and execute various types of testing (regression, smoke, sanity) to validate software releases.

- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines with integrated automated tests.

- Analyse test results, report defects, and provide clear feedback to stakeholders.

- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews).

- Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools.

- Stay up to date with QA best practices, automation frameworks, and industry trends.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

- Proven experience in software QA automation (3+ years).

- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking.

- Demonstrated experience with UI automation using Playwright or similar tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium).

- Proficiency in at least one common programming language for automation (Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).

- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working across distributed teams.

- Proactive and independent, with the ability to manage your own workload.

Nice to have

- Hands-on experience with Playwright (if not already your main tool).

- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Prior experience in a startup environment.

- Relevant certifications in software testing/QA (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
