About The Job Role

As a YouTube Video Editor, you&aposll transform raw footage into high-quality, engaging top-notch long-form videos using an AI-first approach. You&aposll integrate cutting-edge AI tools like MidJourney, Veo3, RunwayML, 11Labs, and Heygen to elevate video quality and streamline workflows along with traditional Adobe suite.

Location: GrowthSchool HQ in Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities

Long-form YouTube Video Editing:

Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring high-quality content, compelling narratives, and seamless transitions.

Keep videos fresh with the latest trends, maintaining viewer engagement from start to finish.

AI Integration & Workflows

Use AI tools like MidJourney (text-to-image), RunwayML (image-to-video), and 11Labs (voice) to enhance video quality.

Streamline workflows and automate tasks using AI to boost efficiency and creativity.

Content Enhancement

Enhance video/audio quality, apply color grading, and integrate special effects for visually appealing content.

Optimize for YouTube with engaging thumbnails, descriptions, and tags.

Collaborative Storytelling

Work with content creators to bring their vision to life, reflecting both brand identity and individual style.

Optimize For Audience Engagement

Leverage AI insights to maximize reach and viewership on YouTube.

Stay updated on best practices for titles, descriptions, and thumbnails to increase click-through rates and retention.

Continuous Learning & Innovation

Stay current with video editing trends, AI tools, and YouTube strategies.

Experiment with new formats and AI tools to stay ahead of the competition.

Skills & Competencies

2+ years of experience in long-form video editing for top-tier YouTube channels.

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After effects and other platforms.

Strong knowledge of motion graphics and visual storytelling.

Solid understanding of YouTubes video optimization strategies.

Experience with AI-based editing tools such as MidJourney, Veo3, RunwayML, 11Labs, Heygen, or similar tools.

A creative mindset, with the ability to ideate and execute AI-enhanced video content.

Familiarity with video analytics to understand viewer behavior and optimize content accordingly.

Being a content creator yourself is a plus.
