Our client is a global leader in digital transformation, delivering innovative cloud and data solutions to enterprises across industries. With a strong track record of delivering complex, high-impact projects, they leverage modern technologies to help organisations make smarter, faster business decisions.

We're looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines within the Azure ecosystem. You'll collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality, reliable data for analytics and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain pipelines using Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Transform, clean, and model data using SQL and DBT.
- Implement data ingestion with Fivetran and other ETL tools.
- Develop optimised data models (star/snowflake schema).
- Manage code with Git and ensure pipeline performance and reliability.

Required Skills:

- Hands-on experience with Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake; MLflow a plus).
- Strong SQL skills.
- Solid Azure data engineering experience.
- Proven experience with DBT, ADF, and/or Fivetran.
- Knowledge of data modelling techniques.
- Proficient in Git for version control.
