Who we are looking for Global Process Delivery is seeking a candidate to work as an AVP for Asset Servicing-Income Accounting verification team at Chennai This position will oversee all Income verification team A self-starter who is comfortable with uncertainty and deadline pressure and possess knowledge of the asset management industry and the processes that support it You need to provide guidance leadership to these teamsWhy this role is important to us We are looking for an individual who is a self-starter comfortable with uncertainty and deadline pressure and possess knowledge of the asset management industry and the processes that support it You need to provide guidance leadership to these teams What you will be responsible for As an Assistant Vice President you will be responsible for Direct and manage project development from beginning to end including strategy development execution and reporting Possess excellent knowledge in Accrual and Amortization in Fixed Income space Collaborate with Business and Global Operations leads identifying resources required to support deliver transition change management projects Identify evaluate and track progress of project risks issues and dependencies escalating them appropriately with suggested mitigation approach Represent Global Operations in Project meetings with client and other State Street business lines Identify opportunity for product automation based on project timeline service requirements and products offered Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents Track project milestones and deliverables Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion Estimate the resources timescales and participants needed to achieve project goals Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders Coach mentor motivate and supervise project team members and contractors and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work Understand follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal policies and procedures and provide input to the further development of best practices Collaborate with appropriate teams globally to ensure consistent service delivery client solutions and client satisfaction Identify develop and deploy process improvements leading to service level improvements and or unit cost operational risk reduction What we value Proven track record of related related industry experience in Fund Accounting Trade Settlements Processing Corporate Actions Reconciliations Income Verification 8-10 years of experience of staff management and leading projects Working at senior level in an organization with the capability of communicating effectively at all levels Working in matrix structures and cross-cultural environments with an ability to operate on their own and as part of a team Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail a must Strong influencing and negotiating skills when dealing with customers internal or external is preferred Strong interpersonal and organization skills Knowledge of State Street systems processes preferred but not required Prior experience in developing executive communication preferred but not required Education Preferred Qualifications Bachelors Masters degree in business discipline preferred or equivalent work experience Strong interpersonal organizational verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with MS Office Applications e g Excel Word Power point etc
