definition or enhancements to existing products planning design forecasting and production to end of life Management Level Definition Contributions impact technical components of HPE products solutions or services regularly and sustainable Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for achieving objectives May provide team leadership and mentoring to others HPE is seeking a Product Manager Staff to join our team working on the Apstra product This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive the development and success of our industry-leading intent-based networking solution powered by AI As a Product Manager Staff for Apstra you will be responsible for shaping the product strategy roadmap and feature development of our multivendor intent-based networking software You will work closely with engineering sales and customer teams to ensure Apstra continues to meet the evolving needs of data center operators and cloud service providers What you ll do Lead the product strategy and roadmap for Apstra aligning with overall company goals and market demands Collaborate with engineering teams to define and prioritize new features and enhancements Gather and analyze customer feedback market trends and competitive intelligence to inform product decisions Create detailed product requirements and specifications for new features and capabilities Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop positioning messaging and go-to-market strategies Engage with customers and partners to understand their needs and communicate Apstra s value proposition Manage the product lifecycle from conception to launch including pricing and packaging decisions Present product updates and roadmaps to internal stakeholders and external customers What you need to bring BS in Computer Science Engineering or related field Experience in product management or related field with a focus on networking or data center technologies Understanding of data center networking architectures protocols and trends Experience with intent-based networking automation and multivendor environments Experience with data analytics and dashboards Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to various audiences Proven track record of successfully launching and growing enterprise software products Experience with development methodologies and product management tools Preferred Skills Knowledge of HPE portfolio and competitive landscape Familiarity with cloud computing virtualization and software-defined networking SDN technologies Experience with API integrations and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible Experience with LLMs and AIOps for networking Understanding of network security principles and zero-trust architectures
