About the Unit Our job is to empower 400 developers with an effective cloud native platform and ensure the reliability of our services We build our digital solutions on containers and in AWS Cloud leveraging a variety of technologies such as Kubernetes ECS PostgreSQL Kafka Elastic Cache OpenSearch others We plan to extend our platform to Azure as well We write our infrastructure as code we strive for automation over manual tasks and we streamline standard processes to enable our developers to focus on build test secure deploy monitor and operate solutions We are part of the Enterprise Information Technology Enterprise IT which has the overall responsibility for Yara s information technology ensuring a stable and secure environment and laying the foundation for a successful digital transformation We are seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to design implement and maintain our cloud infrastructure and automated software delivery pipelines Responsibilities Automate infrastructure Use Infrastructure as Code IaC tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to provision and manage cloud resources consistently and efficiently Manage cloud environments Administer and optimize cloud services e g AWS Azure including compute storage networking and databases to ensure performance and cost-efficiency Build and manage CI CD pipelines Design and implement automated workflows for building testing and deploying applications using tools like GitHub Actions Monitor and troubleshoot systems Establish comprehensive monitoring logging and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus Grafana AWS CloudWatch or similar stack to ensure system health and quickly resolve production issues Ensure security compliance Implement and maintain security best practices access controls and compliance standards within the cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines Continuous Improvements Identifying opportunities for converting manual processes into technical and automated scalable solutions Collaborate across teams Work closely with distributed digital teams by empowering and supporting them deploying to production and keeping their services reliable highly available Profile Bachelor s Master s degree in Computer science Software Engineering or a related technical discipline Brings over 3 to 8 years of DevOps experience in Cloud environment Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider e g AWS Azure Hands-on experience with IaC e g Terraform CloudFormation Bicep and CI CD tools e g Github Actions Proven Experience with container technologies like Docker Kubernetes ECS Solid understanding of system platform monitoring logging observability tools e g Prometheus Grafana AWS CloudWatch Azure Application Insights Instana Good Understanding of system networking concepts e g IP networking load balancing firewalls virtualization operating systems etc Excellent problem-solving troubleshooting and communication skills Experience with agile development methods Passionate for staying on top of tech trend We do not expect that you to know our entire tech stack by heart but we do expect that you are curious and a fast learner and a pro-active
