Sales – Steel Scrap

Experience: 10+ Years Language: Bengali (mandatory) and English. Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Sales professional with strong international exposure in steel scrap selling across different geographies. The ideal candidate must possess deep market knowledge, strong industry connections, and a proven track record in high-volume scrap sales. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement effective sales strategies for steel scrap. - Identify, engage, and manage relationships with buyers. - Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and closing of deals. - Track market trends, competitor movements, and price fluctuations. - Coordinate logistics, shipments, and all related documentation. - Maintain strong relationships with steel mills and key stakeholders. - Prepare monthly sales reports, forecasts, and market insights. - Ensure compliance with company policies, local laws, and environmental norms. - Collaborate with internal teams for invoicing, payments, and contract management. Required Skills & Experience: - 10+ years of experience in sales/marketing of steel scrap or metal scrap. - Strong understanding of pricing, global markets, and steel mills. - Proven experience managing high-volume scrap transactions. - Result-oriented with track record. - Strong product knowledge and domain expertise. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. - Ability to work independently and deliver strong business results. - Strong analytical skills and understanding of market dynamics. - Fluency in Bengali (mandatory) and proficiency in English. Education: - Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Additional Requirements: - Willingness to relocate and travel extensively. - Strong network among industrial buyers in SAARC countries.
