• Development and Sourcing of components (Casting, Forging, Machining, Sheet Metal) • Scheduling and procuring materials to meet customer OTD. • Supplier works visit for capacity study and close follow up of material for smooth running of production line. • Following development plan like - APQP time plan, supplier follow up. • To timely issue of Purchase order to vendors based on SAP for Parts, Pattern and Tooling. • Developing new and maintaining current suppliers in accordance with global commodity strategy to ensure supply continuity and yearly cost saving target. • Finding out potential suppliers for new projects, Evaluate the suppliers for the suitability, locating best cost supplier, negotiation for the price and terms. • Experience in using ERP systems (SAP) • Excellent negotiation & communication skills. • Experience in sourcing Raw Materials like special grade Aluminum, Stainless Steel, MS. • Timely follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time receipt for assembly. • Handle supplier related issues. • Control inventory at targeted levels.More information about this Purchase Engineer JobPlease go through the below FAQs to get all answers related to the given Purchase Engineer jobWhat are the job requirements to apply for this Purchase Engineer job position?
