Job Description - Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings using software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or CATIA. - Design and modify mechanical components, assemblies, and systems based on requirements. - Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Purchase) to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability. - Support prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs. - Assist in resolving design-related issues during development and production stages. - Ensure compliance with relevant design standards and industry regulations. - Maintain proper documentation including design revisions, BOMs, and technical specifications. - Participate in design reviews and provide technical input. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. - 14 years of experience in mechanical design or product development. - Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, CATIA, etc.). - Good understanding of engineering fundamentals, GD&T, and manufacturing processes. - Ability to read and create detailed technical drawings and specifications. - Knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, and mechanical components. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Team player with the ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
