As a Software Engineering - Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. Your work will play a critical role in our business offering, your code will deliver value to our customers faster than ever before, and your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be critical in ensuring the success of our products.

Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.

As a valued member of our team, you will provide work estimates for assigned development work, and guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties. Roles And Responsibilities

The chosen candidate will take on the following responsibilities in the below areas.

- Project Delivery

- Engage with clients to design applications based on business requirements covering Applications, Data, Cloud Technology & Application Authentication & Authorization.
- Performing code review of project deliverables. Lead work sessions and client discussion with application development/support teams
- Perform application code changes based on the defined application modernization strategy and architecture.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture, information security, application & infrastructure teams to produce an optimal, high level, conceptual, and cost-effective application designs by using microservices patterns and best practices
- Develop and modernize applications based on cloud native architecture that includes APIs, microservices and containers.
- Lead project delivery by coaching and mentoring the developers in activities.

- Offering and capability development

- Work with the offering and capabilities team to build application modernization offerings based on market demand and develop delivery capabilities for its execution.
- Mentor and coach junior developers on initiatives.

A Full Stack developer in Kyndryl, is a person who has good experience in application development, support and modernization. Person will mentor and coach junior developers in the application development team and will have responsibilities as defined in role description and responsibilities section below.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

- Overall 7+ years of relevant IT experience, with focus on application development, support and integrating solutions across systems. Out of that, 3+ years deep expertise in a development domain with 3 or more projects in an agile method driven environment as a full stack developer (Refer section Experience and Technical Skills below)
- Handles application modernization activities in projects as a subject matter expert Offering & capabilities development
- Should have exp in application development experience in cloud native environment. (Working experience of development / support / modernization of application(s)) Good understanding and experience of cloud native application design principles (like micro-services, stateless application meant for cloud, containers, 12 factor app principles etc.) Familiarity with application and infrastructure monitoring tools such as New Relic, Splunk Must have executed large application development (green field and brown field) and modernization project on cloud (at least 2 programs)
- Stack Level - Java , UI, UX, Design, UI, Architecture, Design, Java, Servlet, JSP, JAX-RS, Spring Framework, 12-factor cloud native application development, Node JS , REST & SOAP APIs, XML/JSON , Package Manager Maven / Gradle
- Front End , React, Html, CSS
- Database - Application deployment for SQL, NoSQL database backends
- Tech Stack - Kubernetes/OpenShift, Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/Google/IBM)
- Middleware - Apache Tomcat
- DevOps - Must have exp in DevOps framework

- Microservice, Containerization, Domain driven design concept
- Angular, ReactJS, ExpressJS, VueJS
- MS SQL, Redis, Dynamo,
- MongoDB, PostgreSQL, NoSQL DB, MySQL, Oracle
- Python, NodeJS, JPA, Quarkus, Hibernate
- Cloud API Gateways and API management, Go, Scala
- Jboss EAP, Open Liberty, Apache Kafka, Apache Tomcat, Nginx, Jetty, Oracle WebLogic, NodeJS, RabbitMQ
- JIRA, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GIT, NEXUS,
- Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Certification in one or more of the hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, and Google GCP) - otherwise, you can obtain certifications with Kyndryl
