at Jar in Bengaluru As a Quality Assurance Tester you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and applications meet the required quality standards before they are released You will be conducting manual testing across multiple platforms and working closely with cross-functional teams to identify prioritize and address defects and bugs What will be your responsibilities Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development process Assist in the creation of test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications Design test scenarios and implement new or complex tests investigating issues or gaps between actual and expected results Ability to think out of the box use cases corner cases to build quality products Identify and communicate defects to cross-functional teams proactively Actively engage in the entire software test life cycle STLC Collaborate with developers designers and product managers to understand requirements and improve user experience Conduct root cause analysis of issues and implement preventive measures What s required from you 4-6 years of relevant experience in manual quality assurance coupled with a robust understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle STLC and QA processes Demonstrated proficiency in testing mobile applications Android iOS and web applications with strong capabilities in both frontend and backend testing Proficient is Java and RestAssured Proficient knowledge of Framework from scratch Having Experience in Front-end Automation Java appium Extensive experience with bug-tracking systems and other testing utilities such as Charles Postman and Proxyman Good at debugging skills and a systematic approach to problem-solving Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and communicate defects to cross-functional teams Competence in SQL MongoDB queries Strong attention to detail communication and documentation skills Self-motivated detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment Prior exposure to test automation tools e g Selenium Rest Assured Appium is advantageous A Bachelor s degree or
