Job Description Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop web-based applications using Oracle APEX - Write and optimize complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers - Monitor and optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL code, and database performance - Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks in APEX applications - Troubleshoot issues related to PL/SQL code, APEX applications, and data inconsistencies - Provide ongoing support for deployed APEX applications and database systems - Create and maintain technical documentation for code, processes, and system configurations Required Skills and Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in PL/SQL development - Strong experience in Oracle APEX (versions 19.x and above preferred) - Proficiency in writing and debugging SQL queries, views, and materialized views - Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs as used in APEX - Experience with Oracle database architecture, including indexes, partitions, and performance tuning - Strong analytical and debugging skills to resolve complex database and application issues - Familiarity with Oracle tools like SQL Developer, TOAD, and Oracle Forms/Reports - Knowledge of version control systems like Git - Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in Oracle Cloud APEX or other cloud environments - Oracle Database or APEX certification is a plus Education: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
