We are inviting applications for the role of Management Trainee/Assistant Manager, Medical Coding
In this role you shall be responsible for understanding and extract significant information from Medical Records. Being a Medical coder you have to transform healthcare diagnosis, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes. The diagnoses and procedure codes should be coded from Medical Record.
Responsibilities
.Review all bill lines for accuracy, specifically CPT and HCPCS codes.
.Compare mechanism of injury (relatedness)
.Review CPT code translation for non[1]standard bills - Assess the accuracy of the medical records and bill service lines
.Validate the appropriateness of the associated fees
.Assess bill against customer guidelines
.Identifying charges that are outside of state fee schedule and recoding where needed
.Review provider and claim match against client provider database and client claim database

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
.Proficient typing skills
.Fluent in English
.Sound understanding of medical claims.
.ICD-10 trained/ and or certified.

Preferred qualifications
.Medical/Science graduates
.You should possess computer skills including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
