We are seeking a proactive, entrepreneurial Venture Capital "Investment Analyst" to join our fast-paced team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments, excels in networking, and possesses strong financial and analytical skills. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape India's tech ecosystem and work closely with founders, LPs, and a high-caliber investment team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deal Sourcing & Networking

• Proactively scout early-stage tech startups aligned with our investment thesis.

• Build strong relationships with founders, accelerators, incubators, and industry leaders to source high-quality deals.

• Represent StellarNOVA Ventures at startup events, pitch sessions, and networking opportunities.

2. Due Diligence & Investment Analysis

• Conduct detailed financial and operational due diligence on potential investments.

• Analyze business models, market dynamics, and unit economics to identify growth opportunities.

• Prepare clear and concise investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.

3. Financial Modeling & Valuation

• Build robust financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and forecast returns.

• Assist in valuation analysis and scenario planning for potential portfolio companies.

4. Portfolio Engagement & Support

• Collaborate with portfolio startups to track key metrics and drive their growth.

• Provide strategic support in areas such as fundraising, market expansion, and operational improvement.

5. Ecosystem & Community Building

• Actively engage in India's tech ecosystem to identify trends and emerging opportunities.

• Contribute to StellarNOVA Ventures' thought leadership through blogs, insights, and social media posts.

Candidate Profile

• Education: B.Tech or Similar Technology Background Must (MBA from a top-tier institute, preferably focusing on Finance, Entrepreneurship, or Strategy good to Have).

• Experience: 0-2 years in Venture Capital, Growth Equity, Consulting, Investment Banking, or Startup Ecosystem roles.

• Skills:

• Exceptional networking and interpersonal skills.

• Strong financial acumen, with hands-on experience in financial modeling and valuation.

• Ability to think critically, analyze data, and communicate insights effectively.

• Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication.

• Personality & Work Style:

• Entrepreneurial, with a go-getter mindset; takes initiative and ownership.
